Case overview/description
The natural highland wetlands are poor known in Argentina. There are a high biodiversity to know and protect, but also they are very importan because of their role by supporting small peasents livestocks in the Puna of Argentina.
We aim to describe the vegetation biodiversity, to establish a baseline in order to provide basis for decision making for sustainable livestock production intensification
National founds for research.
Puna steppe, highland grasslands
In the lagoons costs in Pozuelos Lagoons there are plots with private land titles. In Santa Rosa de los Pastos Grandes there are land community property.
