Guiding Group Meeting
Rome, Italy, 2-3 October 2018
At the third Guiding Group Meeting in 2018, more than 40 members and observers gathered in the Lebanon Room at FAO in Rome to talk about key elements of the Global Agenda for Sustainable Livestock.
For one and a half day the discussions were about:
- the last MSP Meeting in Mongolia and its report;
- the outcomes of the external evaluation of GASL and the management response;
- updates on Action Networks;
- the future of the Action Network ‘Closing the efficiency gap’;
- the restart of the Action Network ‘Animal Welfare’ with a new leader;
- MSP Meeting proposals for 2019 and 2020;
- the Action Plan of GASL 2019-2021 including a communication strategy;
- the possibility to establish a foundation;
- and finances.
