Antimicrobials in livestock: from scrutiny to action in low-income countries
17 November 2020, 14:00 CET
The emergence of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a true “One health, One world” challenge. However, the challenges as well as the actions to be taken for fighting the emergence varies a lot over the world. For instance, the access to antimicrobials varies a lot by locations and the legalization and its enforcement differ between countries as do awareness of the issue. In this webinar we focus on the situation in the livestock sector in low-income countries. The Livestock Antimicrobial Partnership (LAMP), an Action Network of GASL, hosted by SLU Global is proud to introduce a group of very qualified experts within their respective field that will present and discuss various aspects of the AMR issue.
