The Global Agenda welcomes Brazil as a new partner in South America

With the idea to contribute and share technologies and studies in favor of sustainable livestock, Dr. Mauricio Lopes, President of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa), signed the consensus document to join the Global Agenda last 3 November. Embrapa has been devoted since the 70's to developing knowledge, technologies, and technical-scientific information to increase the sustainability of the Brazilian livestock chain. Some themes as integrated crop-livestock-forest systems, low carbon agriculture, coping with droughts, precision livestock, food security, nutrition and health, animal and forage improvement, environmental services and more are developed by the institution, and its partners, through national and international innovative projects.
