Sustainable waste management: know what you don’t know

[Costa Rica]

Identifying technology and policy gaps for the sustainable management of agricultural and livestock waste in rural areas is the aim of a workshop with participants from academia and private companies in Costa Rica. They met at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture (IICA) in Costa Rica to generate a technical note to help reduce these gaps in Costa Rica. The workshop was organized by IICA, CATIE, the University of Costa Rica, and the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE).
